Powerhouse Breakfast



I love eating food that tastes great, especially if it is nourishing my body at the same time.

This is my typical breakfast on weekdays.  It is a breakfast burrito I created with some of my favorite nutritionally packed foods.


For this meal I use:
  • Whole Wheat Tortilla (70 calorie)
  • Black Beans (seasoned with turmeric, chili powder and dry mustard for a fat burning benefit)
  • Spinach (Iron, vitamin K, vitamin A, antioxidants and much more!)
  • Salsa (the fresher the better)
  • Avocado (creamy, deliciously rich, good for you fatty heaven)

I wrap all the goodies up in the tortilla and toast the outside for an added crunch.
